Clint is an expert forensic investigator and project manager who holds an LLB, a Certificate in Forensic and Investigative Auditing and a National Diploma in Police Administration. He is an Admitted Advocate of the High Court of the Republic of South Africa and a member of the Institute for Commercial and Forensic Practitioners (ICFP).
Clint has over 20 years experience gained within both governmental and the private sectors having successfully managed, investigated; reported upon and testified in matters before the High Courts, Regional & District Magistrates Courts and disciplinary proceedings. He has excellent knowledge of both criminal and civil evidence and procedure, public finance and corruption legislation. Clint has extensive experience in providing training in these areas, which include investigation techniques, gathering of evidence, project management and other strategic elements.
Clint started his career within the South African Police Services at the Organised Crime Unit where he attained the rank of Detective Captain. After 5 years as a Senior Manager at Ramathe Fivaz Forensic & Investigative Accounting Services, he joined the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) as a National Programme Manager leading large-scale, national investigations into, inter-alia, fraud, corruption and financial irregularities. He later joined the Competition Commission where he was employed as Executive: Strategy & Special Projects for 4 years where he was involved in complex enforcement and competition investigations.
